Leaning back
One end or the whole back of the bench has a fixed, slightly angled backrest.
In detail
Unlike most simple flat-pack benches, this bench has an additional backrest panel made of plywood, fixed (with concealed joints) to the seat and standing at a slight backward angle. No moving part, no upholstery – just an additional surface that allows longer, more comfortable sitting, for example at the dining table or in the hallway.

Plywood
Multi-layer glued, so it stays dimensionally stable and resists warping – with the characteristic striped edge that remains visible on every cut. Finish in natural or black.
