Table09⁄09
Room when you need it
The entire top of a coffee table folds up like a lid, with storage space underneath.
In detail
Similar to the folding bench concept, but applied to a coffee or side table: the tabletop is attached with a hinge on one side and can be lifted by a handle. Underneath is a storage area for blankets, remote controls or magazines that would otherwise lie around the living room.
Material
Plywood
Multi-layer glued, so it stays dimensionally stable and resists warping – with the characteristic striped edge that remains visible on every cut. Finish in natural or black.
